Blizzard 2011...or maybe just A Big Snow

Yeah, so today is day 5 of being snowed in...not complaining.  I'm a busy body so I'm getting a little ancy to "get out", but I so have been enjoying time off with my family!  We have played games, read books, cooked every night, which is unusual, ate, and I have become addicted to the game show network.  Richey and I so think we could be contestants on Lingo...and of course WIN!!!  But, the real reason I am posting is to show the fun we had in the snow ice.  We so wanted to build a snowman, but it was covered in ice.  We tromped through the icy snow and played with Lily, but the real fun was when Justin, Beth, Anna, and Lauren came over on the four-wheeler and we went sledding...in our yard.  Here are pictures of our snow fun!

More Christmas Fun!

I wanted to post some pictures of Christmas Day at mom and dad's with mom's side of the family!  Check out our family pic...we have really grown!  The girls love, love, love, Kasey and Matt.  In fact, Delaney, when she goes to him she just lays her little head on his shoulder....like she's sayin' "never put me down."  We also celebrated Christmas with Richey's family the day after Christmas so I definitely wanted to get pictures on here of that as well.  Can you say, "Picture Freak!"  Ha!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!  Christmas is my favorite time of the year!  Lexy is 4 this Christmas and Delaney is 17 months (and in to everything may I add).  Lexy was so into Santa and everything Christmas this year.  She wrote her letter to Santa all by herself...I help her spell the words.  It was adorable...of course writing/letters/sounds make my feet tingle...haha....that's why I teach kindergarten!  I love to see her personality come out through her writing....N. E. Wayz, enough about that.  I hope to scan her letter and put it on here.  I think the thing she wants most is a purple unicorn pillow pet.  I think Santa can swing that.  Delaney wants a baby doll....she is so into the baby thing.  She loves to hold them, and brush their hair.  Too cute!  I hope Santa gets her a doll.  Here are some pics (a few, I hope, because I have probably a few hundred of just Christmas) of our 2010 family Christmas!  Enjoy!

 Laney bug lovin' on her baby...and when Delaney played with her baby she found out that she would cry, suck her paci, and make noises...Delaney doesn't say much at all, but she looked right at me and said, "Her Cry"...I was like, yeah, she does....it surprised me because she had never said either of those words, but it let me know that she CAN say stuff...she just doesn't.
